Timelines by type
- Brochure site, up to six pages: one to two weeks.
- Business site with more pages and languages: two to four weeks.
- Online store: three to six weeks, depending on catalogue and payments.
- Custom application or platform: from six weeks upward, in phases.
Where the time actually goes
Not into programming. In practice the deadline is broken by waiting on content: service copy, photographs, a logo at a decent resolution, a product list with prices. Projects that start with the material ready finish on the announced date, while those that start with "we will send it later" can sit for weeks. That is why the offer always states who writes the text and who supplies the images.
The other common brake: the approval loop
If several people decide on the design without an agreed way to give feedback, every round of edits adds days. The fix is banal and it works: one person collects the comments and sends them at once, instead of them arriving in drips.
What happens after launch
A site is not finished on publication day. The first weeks are spent watching errors, speed and mobile behaviour, and SEO is only beginning to work, which is covered in the piece on visibility on Google. That part is arranged as maintenance.
Our deadline is in the offer before we start, alongside the price, describe your project.
