Ovde Vlasotince, a non-profit guide to Vlasotince in south-east Serbia: the calendar of events, the river Vlasina, places, the outdoors, a day in town, wine and food, people, history, a page for locals and how to get there, in Serbian, English, Russian and German.
ovdevlasotince.com is not the site of the municipality or of the tourist organisation, and it uses neither of their marks. Every fact on it carries a source, announcements are copied from the organisers, and where sources disagree the page says who says what instead of picking one figure.
On the home page the scroll moves like a camera through the town, and the river section is a WebGL water scene whose lower edge follows the real fall of the Vlasina from source to mouth. The maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap with relief from SRTM data, the photographs come from open sources with every author and licence credited, and the site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics.
